Hello all you wonderful NorCal people. Awhile back there
was quite a bit of conversation going on about Evergreen
Cemetery in Oakland. Not very much of it was positive. I
myself, had not had anything good to say either. Well, I
just want to let everyone know that if they had trouble
before to try again. I just did. My great grandparents are
buried there and the headstone was real messed up and half
buried I think by the quake in 1989 anyway, I had tried
writing and calling (no answer) to see about getting it
fixed to no avail. Then my sister in law just had dealings
with them and said how nice they were. Well I just called
and talked to them and they were so nice. The headstone is
being fixed at their expense and she will be sending me a
follow up letter to confirm that the work had been done.

I asked if they had changed ownership or management and she
kind of hem hawed around and then said no they hadn't but
something has happened and it is now better. So try again
everyone who wasn't happy before. Wanted to set the record
straight at least as far as the dealings I am now having
with them.
