Responding to Jackie Rish message concerning this subject. I would like
any ideas of searching this period and area of Calif. around Sutters
Creek.
I understand Sutters Creek Co. was formed in 1850. I found a lost
relative, Til(l)man Gooch through census and marriage records. Nothing
else. Is there any records of 'gold claims' or property claims one may
search? Any other possibilities?
