Hi Ken,
I don't know what that citation is about Mary Murdock Compton & Henria Packer
Compton. Maybe it has something to do with the book that Henria wrote of
Mary's wagon trip to California.
If Sandra looks it up, we will know.
And, yes I would be interested in the Wm. S. letter. I just copied an
article from the S. F. Call yesterday from 1889, where Eleanor, Wm's sister
is suing to reclaim the property she & husband Adam had in Lassen Co. when he
died. Also I have Anna's probate where it mentions a mill in Lassen Co.
