I am searching for info on a cemetery that is supposed to be in or near
Redding, Shasta Co. Sanford Dewey HEWES died in 1950 in Los Angeles but is
buried in the McDonald Cem. in Redding. Does anyone have info on this
cemetery? Where I might call or write for burial info. I will be coming to
California in April to do family research in Shasta Co. and Kern Co. on the
HEWES family. Also, since Sanford died in Los Angeles but buried in Redding,
what are the chances that his obit would be in a local paper? What
newspaper would I search in when I visit the library in Redding? Thank you.
