Hi folks- I have an old tintype (Im pretty sure- it is encased so I am not
positive), and it is getting rainbow marks that are beginning to obscure the
picture. I'd like to have it restored, but it myst be removed from the
"locket" frame - can anyone refer me to a LOCAL (Bay Area) restorer that is
trustworthy? I am cautious about just picking one from an ad, and prefer not
to send it away (call me paranoid ;>))....someone in driving distance would
be great! nd YES, I DID try the archives first!!
