Highlights:

Clyde E. McCONNELL was born in Appleton St. Clair county MO Oct 14 1880, the
son of John P. McCONNELL,a native of IA, and Jennie TYRRELL McCONNELL, MO.
He was one of a family of three children:Clyde E.; Claude(deceased);and
Maud. Father John P. was a saw-mill operator and came to CA in the spring of
1884, locating at San Bernardino.

In July 1893, Mr. McCONNELL lost his life when his wagon brakes gave way.
