Hi,
If anyone happens to see a mention of any HAUB family member, please
contact me. My daughter is the great, grandniece of the above mentioned
Mr John H HAUB and Mr Chester HAUB...and this is the first time I've seen
any mention of them. At least now I know where they were in August, 1920!
These two men were the sons of Frederick Thomas HAUB and Sara Margaret
OWENS.
The children of Frederick Thomas and Sara Margaret were:
1. Lissie, b. 17 Aug 1879, d. 29 Jan 1880
2. Fred Thomas, b. 04 Jan 1882; married Beulah WILCOX, 03 Apr 1909
3. Bertha Nina Haub, b. 20 Sep 1884; married Edwin Fremont STOW, 06 Dec
1910
4. Millie E, b. 15 Aug 1886. married Robert Floyde MOORE, 15 Apr 1908
5. John Henry, b.12 Aug 1888. Married Winifred LONG 22 Nov 1914
6. Oscar Jacob, b.13 Dec 1891,Healdsburg; married Margia Rebecca
McCLELLAND, 12 Jun 1913
7. Chester Cecil, b. 13 Dec 1891; married Bessie Helen FLEWELING, 30 Jun
1920
The above information was provided by my daughter's other grandmother,
and I have no idea what her sources were so I have no guarantee of any
accuracy. I married into that family in the late 60s and heard stories
from many of the very elderly family members that all of these people
were born and married up in the Healsdsburg area. I no longer have access
to those people or any family histories so any help will be greatly
appreciated. My daughter now has two small children and I'd like to be
able to fill in more of their grandfather's side of the family.
Thanks in advance for any and all info...
Sheila :)
