Subject: Mendocino searching

I have the opportunity to travel to Mendocino County in a month or
so.....I'd appreciate any suggestion of folks familiar with searching in
that area as to what would be the best places to hit.....I have the faint
memory that there is supposed to be a great museum in that area....All
suggestions appreciated.

Incidentally...the surname I'm working on is RICH.........the patriarch of
the family, James Rich, died in 1911 and I think is buried in a small
cemetery by the name of Sherwood.
