March 8th and 9th 2008 Tim Purdy posted the link to his
website that has a link to the index for the Lassen Advocate, Susanville.
You can request the microfilm of the Lassen Advocate through an inter
library loan. Ask your local library.
And yes, 1;1 means page l column 1.
You can also access Purdy's index information, I believe, from the usgenweb
site for Plumas county with a link named, Obituary index. Then there is
always google, Tim Purdy history Lassen county.
