Thanks for sharing this wonderful history of yours. Exciting and
touching and sad, too.

About the plants, I have the Christmas cactus started from 3 little
sections in a 1/2 pint milk carton from my sons kindergarten class
in'67.Its much bigger now, Also a Hoya my Dear sister gave me
before her passing in '93. A Hosta,now several, from a part of her plant
that my Aunt gave me '72.
