Subject: [NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN] Help! I need to find an "angel" living in theEssen area now.

When I visited Essen a very nice lady helped me find a hotel. I promised
her a postcard from Texas, but lost her address. I have tried to find a
newspaper there to place an advertisement, but none have answered me. Is there
anyone who can tell me how I might find her. I don't even have her name, but I
am sure that she would remember me if she could be found.

I went into a store to ask for directions to a hotel and the clerk could not
speak English. She was a customer there. She could speak English and told
me to follow her and she led us to a hotel. She would not take any money,
but asked for a postcard from Texas and gave me her name and address.

I am hoping that she will read this and correspond with me.

P.S. I am researching Dittmar, Evenius, Bockholts, Wittkaemper, and
Sommerkorn families from Essen and the townships that are now a part of Essen (Steele
and Konigssteele). I would love to hear from someone in these families. I
also would like the histories of these places. Thank you.
