Dear Ben,
It is strange that my ancestor was also "Lydia Howard", but born Hassingham
1789. She was the daughter of James Howard and Lydia Stanford who married
1781 in Hassingham. There was also a daughter, Mary 1782 and son, James 1787.
My Lydia married 1814 to Jehosophat Davy POSTLE in Blofield. It's a pity we
can't match up.

Hi Betty,
Spotted your 'HOWARD' interest, in your reply to Steve JONES, Have you any
connections with:
1. Lydia HOWARD (c.1788-1873, possibly born Orford, Suffolk,
married Robert REEVE (c.1780-) at Bruisyard, Suffolk 6 Jan 1812.
Family emigrated to New Zealand and am in touch. Sure they would love some
extra detail.
2. Nellie HOWARD (1900-1992) b. Norwich m. Cyril CLAYPHAN c.1922 and lived
in Owston Ferry, Humberside. My wife has CLAYPHAN ancestors
3. Susannah Brown HOWARD (c.1845-) b. Lyng, NFK
m. Alfred REEVE Oct 1865 at Lyng.
4. William HOWARD (c.1797-)
m. Sarah REEVE 26 Sep 1818 at Honingham, NFK 26 Sep 1818.
5. (A long shot) Ann HOWARD (1814-1885) b. Burnham, Buckinghamshire. m.
James CAIN c. 1845
No doubt you already were aware the family name of the Dukes of Norfolk is
HOWARD ?
Most garteful for any help on any of the above
Ben
