Subject: Town of "Lynn"

In several references to my family of "Stebbing", the birthplace of 4
members is listed in the 1871, 1881 and IGI as LYNN, Norfolk. Could
someone please advise me as to whether this is infact KINGS LYNN, or
whether it is a town or city in its own right.
