Subject: Why the world needs another web page on the 1851 Census Index CD-ROM (was Re: 1851 Census Info.)

Hi Pat & all -
Good idea Pat. Peter Abbott is most welcome to the information
which we freely shared on this mailing list.
We visited both Mike's page and Peter's page before decided to put
up one of our own with additional information not already covered
by either web page. Not only will international ordering
information be included but also:
What's on the 1851 Census Index CD-ROM.
The fact that local FHCs world-wide are receiving it now and make
it available for free use if they have the computer resources to
use it.
How to use the CD-ROM (ie. as a finding aid to lead you to the
original census).
Cheers - Mark
