Hi Ron,

I have my grandfather's and father's 'National Registration Identity Card"
from WWII. All it gives is their Identity number, surname, christian names,
class code, full postal address, and the holders signature (parent if a child
- 1st initial last name), along with an official stamp "National Registration
Office" and Date of issue. There are sections for different address' if the
person moved around. My father's card looks different (beige vs. green) than
my grandfathers. I'm not sure if this is because he was a child or because of
different registration districts. They really don't give a whole lot of
information. I have no idea how you'd obtain info on them now. I swiped mine
from my grandmother! Hope this helps.
