I am not a member but am searching the family of William Seaman.
Supposedly he married a King (thought to be Charlotte King) who was
born in
Norwich. One of their children, Charlotte Seaman was b. in 1803 in
Norwich. From that date, I assume that Charlotte King was b. sometime
between 1760-1780. It is said by family tradition that William
Seaman was
a member of the House of Commons. Charlotte King Seaman, left
England with
her 3 children, Ann Seaman, Charlotte Seaman & William Seaman, Jr. and
migrated to South Carolina, USA in 1808 with her brothers (King..names
unknown). I would appreciate any information about a possible marriage
record or baptisms of the children in the Norwich area.
