What are the details of the reel you are looking through? Are they
Archdeacons transcripts or parish records or census?

I looked up the 1841 census for Shouldham Thorpe today and there is no John
BYWATER. Yet he owned land there according to the TAX records.

Today I looked for the marriage of Robert CARTER and Phoebe OXBOROUGH in St.
Catherine's Index and found they were married in the March quarter 1844. Is
there another way I can find details from the certificate besides purchasing
it? If I have to purchase a copy what is the easiest way of doing it from
Australia?
