With the way names changed last century it might be worth considering the
RACKHAM's as a possible spelling variation.
One Rackham family arrived in Kings Lynn, a solicitor, born Norwich, via
Watton and East Dereham. His father a carrier and if memory serves me
correctly, brother a curate.
There is a RACKHAM surname mailing list.

As to HOWARD, I have a marriage in Kings Lynn (c.1867) of Maria J LOWE (my
maternal line) to Joseph J HOWARD, born Thetford c. 1842, if of any
interest.
