Further to my search, Mary Anne GUNNS married William MANSER circa 1870.

Requesting info on William MANSER and forefathers.
For general information to anybody interested in surnames connected to
the suffragette movement, Mary Anne MANSER was an active member, and,
according to a report in the local Norwich press, went to the
cathedral, waited for a lull in the sermon being given by the then
bishop of Norwich, and leapt up unfurling her purple and gold umbrella
demanding votes for women. She was, not unsurprisingly, forcibly
ejected.

John.
