In reply to the free bmd I found it fairly easy at 9 am to get on line and
having found a marriage for my Mary Ann Johnson & Henry Harper in the
Swaffham in 1841 (my GG grandfather being born 1854) his was a surprise.
The problem being as mine are suppose to be Londoners - is this just a
coincident or not. I must say I have had a few a lot of help from others on
the Harper side but none as yet on the Johnson. But how can I be sure....
I think
this may turn out to be an extremely valuable resource as I found during my
research I could read only one of the names on the fiche but when checking
for the other partners name found it was unreadable, so this has proved to
me to be a great asset.
