Dear Listers,
Thank you all for the help and suggestions regarding my
g.g.grandfather George Christmas Page. I'm sure,as many of you said, that many babies born around that season were given the name Christmas but I now have proof that his mother was in fact Mary Christmas married to John Page a Yarmouth mariner.
A very kind lady called Judy Jones did a look-up on the British Vital Records Index and sent me a wealth of information on my Norfolk roots which ties in with and greatly adds to information I gathered myself. What wonderfully helpful people you listers are.
