Hi Jack,
Thanks for your reply and Loose interest. The only information that I have re Andrew Loose is on the Field Dalling group. The following info. is taken from the IGI records of that area.
Robert Loose married Katherine Boyce 1691, probable children of that union = Mary 1691 and Andrew 1692.
Andrew Loose and Sarah ?? had 2 known sons. 1 Robert christened 1724 and 2 Andrew christened 1726. It may be worth getting the parish records of Field Dalling on the off chance that you may be able to establish a link with that group. The male forenames that seemed to predominate in that area and were used fairly consistently include Xtopher, Robert, Silvester, Mathew, John and William ( among others of course )
My interest is in the Loose family of Holkham ( who incidentally may have originated from the Field Dalling area because of the common use of some of the same male forenames and the close proximity of F.D. to Holkham ) My link is from Robert Loose married Ann Belding / Beldon 1782. Their daughter Mary b. 1801 married William Green 1819. Their daughter Pamela married William Whiley in 1838. William and Pamela, with their 6 children emigrated to Tasmania in 1857 as free settlers.
Best wishes for success in your research, Margaret.
