I am writing to provide an update on the 1891 census project. One
further piece has been uploaded to the on line database and is now
searchable for free on the main freecen site at http://www.freecen.org.uk
This is piece RG12/1557 North Elmham which covers the parishes of
Bintree, Brisley, Colkirk, East Bilney, Gateley, Guist, Horningtoft,
North Elmham, Oxwick & Pattesley, Stanfield, Twyford, Whissonsett,
Worthing. This means that there are now 171,777 (42%) 1891 Norfolk
census records available to search free on line. Many thanks to Carol
Walker and Jean Oliver without their help this information would not be

for further information. I also have the 1871 census now available.

East Dereham, 1556 Litcham, 1557 North Elmham, 1558 Fakenham, 1560
Wells, 1563 Snettisham, 1564 Hillington, 1565 Gayton, 1566 Middleton,
1567,Castle Rising, 1571 Wiggenhall, 1572 Downham , 1573 Fincham,1574
Swaffham, 1575 Swaffham and 1576 Methwold.
