Wow that's fantastic genealogy to be able to get answers from some one who
was there.I have been searching through St Faiths records and found a few
GOODSON names but I am looking for James Goodson and Ann Wade the parents of
my gggrandmother SARAH GOODSON who was a servant girl in 1851 for two
brothers in UPWELL James and Thomas WILES.SARAH GOODSON was born c1821.

Gayle

Best wishes to your mother Allan

Hello David,

My mother (nearly 92 and born in Horsham St. Faith and who lived at one
time in Newton St. Faith) has just answered a couple of questions which
may be of assistance to you.

She new of a Willimot family who lived in a cottage on Wood Farm because
her parents' neighbours, who lived in Waterloo Close, Horsham St. Faith,
were also WIllimotts. My grandfather worked on an adjacent farm.

Anyway, my mum says the farm was located on the Old Catton or Spixworth
road out of Horsham St. Faith. I'll have a look on some old maps I
have and let you know if I find any reference to same.

Best wishes

Alan Ellis
