Hi,
I am new to the list . I have just come across some new information but not sure how to verify it or if it is even possible to. My Husband has a James Martin b 1775 VA married a Elizabeth b 1785 KY. Someone believes that her name was Elizabeth Betsy Gill and they were married in 1800 in Mercer Co KY. I have come across a James Martin in the 1810 census for Mercer co, but not sure it is him. I know they were in Parke co IN in the late 1830's at least and in Livingston co MO by 1849. Any connections ?
Look forward to any thoughts and suggestions as I have not done alot of research in the Ky area.
