Subject: Nicoll-Woodhull-Grafton family history

I was wondering if anyone could provide assistance on the following ancestors:

Mary Woodhull m William Nicoll (b ?, in Islip, Northants, ENG), she was the daughter of Lawrence Woodhull, he was the great grandson of John (d1467) & Annys Nicoll of Islip, Northants, ENG.
I'm not sure if this Lawrence Woodhull is the grandson of Sir Nicholas Woodhull and son of Foulke (Fulk) Woodhull.

Joane Grafton (?) m John Nicoll (son of William Nicoll & Mary Woodhull).she was the daughter of George Grafton.

They had a son Matthias Nicoll (born abt 1610) who married Martha Oakes. Their son was Matthias Nicoll (2nd) who went to America in 1684.

I know nothing about Martha Oakes, George Grafton or Joane Grafton. I know a bit about the Nicoll family from a book produced in New York in 1894. I don't have any birth or death dates or locations for most of these people, nor do I have any details of the Nicoll wives before Mary Woodhull.

The Nicoll descent from John & Annys to Matthias Nicoll (as I have it) is:

John
William m Mary Woodhull
John m Joane Grafton
Matthias m Martha Oakes

I am visiting the UK for a holiday in March and may have a few hours to spare in Northamptonshire - is there a location where I will be able to expand what we know about these ancestors in a short time? I will greatly appreciate any assistance that is available (it is difficult doing this research from a great distance).
