Hello Everyone,
>From IGI records it appears that a Charles Clark & his wife Sarah Skinner
from Oundle had three children:-Josiah b 1812
Elizabeth b 1813
Frances b 1815
The records of 1820 Settlers to the Eastern Cape of South Africa on the
other hand show that in Waits Party which sailed on the Albany there
was a Charles Clark aged 36 & his wife Sarah aged 31 & three children:-
Josiah aged 8
Frances aged 5
David aged 1
My early confusions arose from the fact that Wait's Party apparently
started out from Buckinghamshire & I could find no records there which
matched.
I am now looking to establish the Northamptonshire connections. Can
anyone help?. I am in a position to provide assistance & background
history in return this end.
