We should really be supporting the exisiting sites for this. Adopting a
parish on GENUKI would seem to be the best ooption. As there is already a
structure and the site is well connected and gets a high profile on search
engines. Any new site is going to need maintaining and dilutes the
opportunity to support.

Could a new page be added to GENUKI under the existing Northants pages where
we can make our adoptions.

I also suggest a good look at some of the other county pages as there are
some excellent examples out there.

Just a few quick thoughts. You are of course aware of the existing pages on
GENUKI (the Huntingdonshire pages are a good example of how these have been
expanded with parish descriptions, records and statistics). There is also
the Genweb page http://www.rootsweb.com/~engnth/ here the equivalent
Cambridgeshire page have made good use of this and has some good ideas.

Bedfordshire has some good photographic pages at
http://met.open.ac.uk/group/kaq/beds/village.htm and
http://met.open.ac.uk/group/kaq/beds/church.htm which might be worth
encouraging contributions.

My own modest pages have material relating to Nonconformists in
Northamptonshire at
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hollow/4704/dirchap.html and
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hollow/4704/dissent.html
