Hello again everyone - On a great aunt's birth certificate her father is
shown as a Master Jeweller. On the 1881 census a the age of 17 this
fellow is shown as a Gold Piercer. One of our relatives last night
brought me a photo copy of several picture frames this fellow had made
and inscribed on the frame in tiny writing was General Saw Piercer, and
the fact the frame was gold and silver as well as the address of the Gr.
Grandfather's shop.
I cannot seem to find either of these occupations on any of my
occupation lists. Can someone define Master Jeweller as well as Gold
Piercer and General Saw Piercer so I can also pass this information on
to my cousin.

Will be signing off the list on Tuesday for a couple of weeks due to
visitors at home. Any replies would be appreciated direct to my email.
