I am sorry I cannot help with your 1851 lookup - I am even further away in
Vic., Australia!! I hope you don't mind but I would be very grateful if you
could help with my 'brickwall' and check your Peterborough Census index for
any GLADALL's / GLEADALL's / GLADHALL's. My grt grt grandmother, Martha
GLADALL, was born in Peterborough according to the 1851 & 1881
ensus,( London). According to her Bible, she came to London, to work (in
service?) in 1844 but there are no family names in it prior to her children.
I have not, as yet, been able to access Peterborough Parish records, aside
from those on the IGI, and I am hoping / expecting that any GLADALL's in the
1851 census index will be relatives.
If there are any on the index, I can investigate ordering Films from the
nearest LDS library.
