Geoff,
Regarding the attached note, what corrections are being made to the census
index for South Shields etc.? Is it still worth puchasing if there are
errors in it? What price should I be paying for it in its present state?
Do you have an e-mail address for Ms. B. Rawle so I can check on the
pricing before ordering rather than sending her a letter to check the price
so I could send her a letter and order.

A couple of other questions. How complete are the monumental inscriptions
from NDFHS for the South Shields area etc. and are they indexed? Also, how
complete are the Durham Marriage Indexes (1813-1837) and are they indexed?
I would hope so since there are 84,500. What does the North Durham Poll
Book for 1868 contain and is it informative?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks
