Many, many thanks to Brian Pears, George Bell and Phillip Phipps for
replying to my query. It wasn't until I read the location of the street,
that I realized I had traipsed up and down it many times! (Just put it down
to a rotten memory, or seniors forgetfulness). I was interested to hear
from Phillip that it has now disappeared and is part of the Bridges Shopping
Centre.
Makes me feel I should go back and re-acquaint myself with that part of the
town. I read the Echo and it seems like there are lots of changes.
Again, many thanks to you all, and I also found Alwinton - now if only I can
remember why I needed to know about that!!!????
