Hi Brian/Ian
As Bedlingtonshire was formerly part of the County Palatine of Durham, I
wonder if this is a hint as to what may have occurred in 1611?
Best Wishes and Gan Canny

<<Sorry I cannot help at all as it isn't a period or an area
that I know much about. I've certainly not heard of any
uprising or disturbance anywhere in the area in 1611 - I
think there was some plague about that year, but that's
all I know of it. And the nearest "rising" was that of the
Earls of Northumberland and Westmorland in 1569 - I suppose
it may have had repercussions as late as 1611, but I really
don't know if it affected Bedlington at all.
Others may know much more, of course.
Cheers, Brian>>
