Wellllllll----worrih smashin story. Aal bet yih wuddiv got 10 ooriv 10 for
that if yih wuz still it skeul.
:-))
But joking apart Brian, If had the writing skills of yourself, I'm sure I
could tell of a few of my acquaintances in life who succeeded against all
the odds. (and quite a few egg-heads who threw it all away), but one comes
particularly to mind. He was very slow on the uptake, (it was thought)
couldn't, still can't, read or write, took a job as a labourer and worked
very hard at any task he was given. When he had saved enough money, he
managed to convince the bank to back him in the purchase of a "digger". He
now is M.D. of his own company, but can still be seen with his sleeves
rolled up. He owns a large spread with a pool on the mountainside
overlooking his village. He certainly ended up "top of the heap" and
deservedly so. C'est la vie!!
