"Newcastle Register Office" does not have any baptism records
whatsoever - they only have post-1837 birth and death and
marriage records.

Some Catholic baptism registers from the Newcastle area have
been deposited at Tyne and Wear Archives - indeed the Bishop
has been urging priests to do this. But many registers remain
in churches, and as far as I'm aware this includes the registers
of St Anthony of Padua - enquiries should therefore be sent to
the parish priest as he will be the only person with access.
