I'm trying to date a photograph of (I think) my grandmother Eleanor Jack
(nee McKenzie) who was born in Swinhoe in 1894. Going by the look of her,
the photo would have to been taken around the turn of the century. They
were living in Heatherslaw in 1901.



The only information on the photo is the name of the photographer which is
printed in the bottom right hand corner of the cardboard backing the photo
is mounted on. It reads:



JEROME, Ltd.,

Branches Everywhere.



I wonder if anyone would have any information on this photographic company,
such as when and where they were in business. Any information would be
appreciated.
