My turn I guess.
I live in the contryside north of Kristiansand town in Norway altså på
Sørlandet.
Why I joined this list was to practice English writing and to find some far
relatives over there!
I have been able to give some advice and translationhelp not impossible
have my English improved as well, but my relatives are still hidden!
I started genealogy more seriously when I got my first computer, these
machines are spesial made to keep all g,g,g,fathers in order I use
"Brothers Keeper" to line them up.
Most of my ansestors lived around the neighbou parises, I have my 64
g.g.g.g grandparents complete.
Also may be a little uncommen in America is that I live in a house my
g.g.grand-father rebild when you run around in civil war!
As a former seaman ,like many 50 years boys from Sørlandet, I have been
around Us-ports, I also had a trip to the midwest, and getting a little
outside mainstreet I found great hospitality everywhere! My favorite boast
is my barn-squaredans in Texas!!
