I missed your original post so am sending this via the list.
I have ancestors who arrived at Lisbon Co. IL at about the
same time - they came from Skånevik on the Kong Sverre. 165
people sailed from Norway May 11, 1847 and arrived in New
York harbor over six weeks later on June 25: (as listed in
the Skånevik Church Book 4 under "Udflyttede", emigrating
"til de forende nord Americanske Stater"). Try writing to

passenger list. Who knows--you may be lucky!!!
