I don't believe either one of the Bentsons is yours. One is a Peter Bebtson and the other a John Bentson. Sorry!

Thanks to all who gave me suggestions for the translation of "Bernt."

Unfortunately I have "lost" Bernt Andreas (Berntsen) BENTSON after he left
Norway and supposedly settled in NY I think Ancestry.com (I am not a member) lists 1 Bentson in the
Brooklyn Directory for 1890 and 1 in the New York City Directory for 1890,
but don't know if they are mine. Are any listers a member who might be able
to check that for me?
