Glad to hear the smoke is clearing some, and the fires are calming a
The Tolken program is really fabulous, I agree. The inventor was
in having it manage to accept new words. This left it open to keep adding
them. A Norwaylister, Ellen Coloumbe first started to collect additional
words, and asked all of the rest of us to also add words to ours. We
added old world Danish words, that were no longer used in modern
times, but were used in church and census records. We added similar spellings,
and have ended up with an amazing resource. Once a year Ellen collects all
our files, and sorts thru them, then adds the new words.
I'm taking this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to
the growing Norwegian word file, the inventor, and the coordinator Ellen
for creating this for our use.
Great job folks!
Sincerely,Karla Halsan Mattila Norwaylistowner
