Karla, thank you! Good heavens, how did you find his wedding announcement?
A contact in Norway found that bit about Aagvik. I wondered whether he had
the right Anders Olsen because the 1801 census would have his birthdate as
1863 or 1864 and the Anders Olsen born at Aagvik was born in 1861.

Anders Olsen seemed to have a several occupations when Ole Hermann was born:
Bonde og Gaardbeboer og jaegtskipper. Bonde is farmer, but the other two?
Can you tell what sort of business and household his son Ole Hermann later
had in Vefsen? The 1865 census lists him as having been born in Alstadhaug,
but it must have been Alstahaug. Can you tell at all from where Ole got the
Schroder name? Thank you for being so generous with your time!
