A couple of years ago I saw cloudberry bushes in one of the seed catalogs, so the plants are available in the U.S. On the other hand from looking at the climate chart in the catalog and matching it up to the growing zone on the cloudberrys it is safe to say they probably will NOT grow in California, except, perhaps in the high Sierra, we just don't get cold enough for them to prosper here.
