If you read John Føllesdal's News about stolen antiqes yesterday, you
got the correct answer to Patti's question:
"License for export:
Antiques (usually items that are more than 100 years old) and old items
that have artistic, cultural or historical value, can not be brought out
of the country without special permission.
It is the Norwegian Folkmuseum (Norsk Folemuseum) which issues licenses
for the export of Norwegian antiques."
