You are right, they do have a lot of records, etc. However, it is the worst
possible place to drive to. Down Town St Paul, by the Capital. Terrible!
and you have to pay for parking. You would be much better off if you could
"camp" there for a few days while researching. One day does not began to
cover it.
And someone has probably already told you that they do have a website. They
do have Minnesota Social Security death records online, however, they are
not complete. I have tried to get death certificates for relatives that I
have newspaper clippings of their obits and I have walked the cemetery and
found their stones, but their death certificate is not online. I will go to
the county courthouses and try to find them.
