Hello Vivian.

I searched my files ,and found the following on your family.
I actually am related distantly to Kari Olsdatter Dølvesbråten!!.
The information I have is this:
Ole Andreassen Bratrud ,born abt 1820 ,married in Sør Aurdal ,Valdres ,Oppland County ,Norway 1858 to
Kari Olsdatter Dølvesbråten ,born 1830 in Sør Aurdal.
Kari Olsdatter Dølvesbråten was daughter of Ole Olsen Kirkebergeie ,born abt 1797 in Sør Aurdal ,and his wife (married 1828 Sør Aurdal) Kari Olsdatter Dølvesbrenden ,born 1801 Sør Aurdal died 1878 same place. (Ole Olsen and Kari Olsdatter had 8 children.

Ole and Kari Bratrud (Anderson) had 4 children as you have them when they emigrated:
1 Anne 1859 ,
2 Andreas 1861 ,
3 Kristine 1863 ,and
4 Kari 1866 ,all born Sør Aurdal.

Hope this helps.

Erik in Norway.
