Gudmund, if your Elverum Bygdebok has any info for me, or if anyone else has
it I would appreciate your help. Connie Jaynes found an extracted
christening record from Elverum that sounds like it could be them, but the
names are really butchered.

I have Berte Eriksdatter, my great grandmother , born 1842, Elverum,
Hedmark, living on Glorvigen gard, Asnes at the 1865 census. She had a
child with Aksel (Axel)Veginius (Beginier)Pedersen (christened 1841 at
Elverum) who was living at Bjolsethagen gard, Elverum, Hedmark at the 1865
census. Their son was ED AXELSON. He was born in 1867 and emigrated to US
in 1875 with his mother, Bertha. I can find no trace of him in Norway.
Would anyone have access to anything that might report his birth. In 1875
when they emigrated she again shows a residence of Elverum, so Ed may have
been born either at Asnes or Elverum. I would appreciate any assistance.
