Hi Gwen,

Marriages from Etne for 1715-1815 has just recently been added to the
digitalarkivet.
There is a record for a Sten Lamberctsen married to Ingri Knudsdtr. on 2406
1734 (no other info given).

The probate records for Aksdal farm in Etne list Stein Lambrigtsen who died
in the period 1773-1780.
I don't see any name like Ingri Knudsdtr in the probate records for this
farm.
There is a Lambrigt Stensen listed in the Aksdal probate records for the
period 1814-1819, who I assume would have been a son.

Looking at the 1701 census for his father (males only listed unfortunately),
the only Lambrigt etc. I found was age 73 (no last name given) at Vettestøe
farm in Etne. However he would be way too old to be your Steins father.

On Family Search there is a family group (file no. 457531) record for
Lambrigt Torgeirsen, b. 1659 Grindheim, Etne, d. 1725, Grindheim Etne
(buried 04 Nov 1725), father Torgeir Grinheim, married to Britha Olavsen,
born about 1675, Hardaland, Etne, parents Olav Andersen & Anna Storkersen.
They have two children listed; Torgeir Lambrigtsen, b. about 1700 Klungland,
Etne, and Nils Lambrigtsen, b. about 1705 Grindheim, Etne, died 1760 (no
spouses named)

There are a couple of Ingri Knudsdatters found on family search from Etne
born around 1700, but no mention of who they married.
