I hope someone on the list will help me find my g g g grandfather
Christian Larsen (b. 1811 in Vardal, Oppland, son of Lars Gundersen and
Berthe Christiansdatter) who emigrated from Ringsaker, Hedmark, in
1880. I do not know where he went, but he died in Sundal in Norman
County 12 Sept 1886. Christian Larsen and his wife, Kari Eriksdatter
(b. 1809 in Biri, Oppland) moved to Ringsaker in 1844, and setled at
Fuglsengsæter in Åsmarken at Ringsaker. He was a widower when he left
for Amerika in 1880.

Their first born son, Ole Christiansen, b. 1837 at Biri, is my g g
grandfather:

Christian Larsen emigrated in 1880 together with his granddaughter,
Maria Petersdatter b. 1866, daughter of his daughter Karen b. 1846 at
Ringsaker. I have not been able to find their emigration record, but
here they are leaving from Ringsaker:

I would very much like to know what happen to Maria Petterdatter as
well.
In 1893 the son of Christian Larsen, Even Christiansen, emigrated as
well together with his wife and children.

I have been able to find the ship manifest at Ellis Island but it says
nothing of where they was going, and I hope to find that out as well.
I hope anyone on the list will be able to help me!
Cathrine :-)
