Hi, I'm hoping I'm doing this right! I've been "lurking" on this site for
about a week now and this is my first attempt to post on it.
I'm looking for the farm name of "Svensoe" or possibly "Svendsøe". I
suspect it might be located in Telemark but that is more of a guess than
anything else.
I am looking for a Marthe Halvorson (datter?) b.1819. Parents were a
man named Halvor and mother Ingeborg Borti Svendsøe (b. 1795)
Marthe is my great-greatgrandmother and was married to Vetle Torjusen in
Walworth County, Wisconsin in Jan of 1850. I'm hoping someone can point me
to the above mentioned farm as I am at a total dead end on this woman.
