Here is a map of the Minnesota River Valley that shows Montevideo on the
map.
Vegdahl (Wegdahl) is just a short ways from Montevideo, could possibly be on
Hwy 212
or a trail nearby. The trail will eventually extend to Granite Falls,
Minnesota.
Wegdahl is in Chippewa County. The city of Milan is not too far from
Montevideo
and was settled by many Norwegians. Therefore Wegdahl would be a logical
place
for other Norwegians.
There was a Gordon Hildahl b. 19 Feb.1919 in Wegdahl (Vegdahl) and d.28
Jan.2003
in Granite Falls, Mn. Could this person possibly be a relative?
